Refund Policy — WebQR.io

1. General

This Refund Policy describes the conditions and procedures for refunding payments for subscriptions and services purchased on webqr.io. Please read it carefully before making a purchase. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read and accepted this Policy.

2. Definitions

WebQR.io (the Service, we) — a web platform for generating QR codes, accessible at webqr.io.
User (you) — an individual purchasing a subscription or service on the Service.
Billing period — the period for which the subscription is purchased: monthly or annual.
Purchase date — the date on which payment was successfully charged to your account.

3. Plans

The Service is available in the following options:

  • Starter — free of charge, with basic QR code creation features.
  • Paid plans (Premium, Business, Business Plus) — monthly or annual subscription with extended features, increased limits, and additional storage. Detailed plan descriptions and pricing are available at webqr.io/pricing.

4. Eligibility for a Refund

We provide refunds in the following cases:

  • Monthly subscription — within 7 calendar days of the purchase date.
  • Annual subscription — within 30 calendar days of the purchase date.

Condition: a refund is available only if the extended features of the paid plan have not been actively used after the upgrade date. Active use means creating more than 5 QR codes after the date of upgrade, or using features available exclusively on the paid plan (e.g. Workspaces, GPS tracking, extended analytics).

5. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • The refund period has expired (7 or 30 days depending on the plan).
  • The subscription was actively used (more than 5 QR codes created or paid-plan-exclusive features were used).
  • The subscription was cancelled but the paid billing cycle has not yet ended — access to paid features is retained until the end of the paid period, but no refund is issued for the unused portion.
  • Violation of the Terms and Conditions resulting in account suspension or deletion.

6. Cancelling Your Subscription

You may cancel your subscription at any time via the account settings section. After cancellation:

  • access to paid features is retained until the end of the current billing period;
  • no further charges will be made;
  • cancellation alone does not constitute grounds for a refund.

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund within the applicable period:

  • Option 1: email us at support.io with the subject line "Refund Request".
  • Option 2: use the contact form on webqr.io.

Please include:

  • the email address associated with your account;
  • your transaction number or payment date;
  • the reason for your refund request.

We will review your request within 5 business days and notify you of our decision by email.

8. Refund Process and Timelines

If your request is approved:

  • funds will be returned to the same payment method used at the time of purchase;
  • processing time is 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider;
  • WebQR.io is not responsible for delays caused by the bank or payment provider.

9. Service Outages

If your inability to use the Service is caused by a technical fault on our side that persisted for more than 72 consecutive hours and which we failed to resolve within a reasonable time, you are entitled to request a refund regardless of the standard deadlines. To do so, describe the issue and confirm the outage by writing to support.io.

10. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to amend this Refund Policy. We will notify you by email at least 30 days before any changes take effect. The current version is always available at webqr.io/refund-policy.

11. Governing Law

This Policy is governed by the laws of Georgia. All disputes shall be resolved by the courts of Georgia.

12. Storage Add-Ons

Additional storage purchased as a one-time add-on is non-refundable once the storage has been allocated to your account. If you experience a technical issue preventing the use of purchased storage, please contact support.io.
